Exterior Design PHILOSOPHY
THE MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN - A Historical Influence
Southern California's climate closely parallels that found in the countries on the shores of the Mediterranean. The influences that have historically had affect on the established Exterior Design gardens of France, Italy and Spain have continued to reach across the Atlantic to the shores of the Pacific. Our hospitable climate and sunshine, encourages the use of rare varieties of plant materials often found in these older gardens and create a fresh approach to the garden. These unique plants along with the colors and aromatic scents provided meld with the historical architectural references in Southern California to enhance the gardens of our world - The European Influence.
